Travel to Garabandal
By plane from anywhere in the world: Destination to Seve Ballesteros Airport in the city of Santander (Spain)
Once the flight has landed at the Seve Ballesteros Airport and for the subsequent transfer to San Sebastián de Garabandal (80 km away), you can choose 3 possibilities:
- Car rental without driver at the same airport.
- Taxi service at the airport.
- Bus service from the airport to the city of Santander. Once in Santander, use the Feve, Autocar or Taxi train services, described below, to travel to San Sebastián de Garabandal.
From Santander to San Sebastián de Garabandal
AUTOCAR SANTANDER COSÍO: from the Santander Bus Station, there is only one daily bus from the ALSA company that covers the Santander-Cosío line (except: Saturdays, Sundays and holidays). Once in Cosío, you have to use the taxi service to travel to San Sebastián de Garabandal (5 kilometers up the mountain).

By train from Spain: to Torrelavega or Santander
RENFE (Red Nacional de Ferrocarriles Españoles). Once in Torrelavega or Santander, use the Feve, Autocar or Taxi train services, described below, to travel to San Sebastián de Garabandal.

By car
From Santander, take the Cantábrico highway towards “Oviedo”, and exit at exit 269 (Pesués-Cueva del Soplao). Continue along the national highway towards “Puentenansa”. In Puentenansa direction “Cosío” and there you will find the road (well signposted) that goes up to San Sebastián de Garabandal (5 km).
